This course was requested for on-site presentation by the attending staff for Harvard Medical School. You'll learn the protocol for analysis and reporting of every element of the surface echocardiogram including all views, Doppler measurements and tissue tracking data. Special emphasis is placed on rapid and accurate recognition of systolic and diastolic wall motion abnormalities. The physiologic impact of diastolic heart failure and the many ways to assess it are made perfectly clear.
