About Lost Element

In 2010, the newly re-formed Lost Element began playing shows in Houston and writing new music. Drawing influences from the likes of Muse and Silverchair, their song writing soared to another level. They incorporated more piano-laced riffs utilizing the musical prowess of the multitalented Trevor Luthy. Combining Trevor's pure tones with Omar's rasp and range of vocals lift the choruses to the pinnacle of their potential. Their writing culminated in the release of "Back Again", a six song EP. The album's music ranges from an acoustic piano ballad drawn from the influences of addiction to a unique blend of guitar distortion and pristine vocals in the vein of Three Days Grace.

Lost Element is the 2011 Texas Buzz "New Band of the Year" award winner. The band has demonstrated success in Houston, Austin, and surrounding areas playing various popular venues and attracting a dedicated fan base. Their curret single "Fall GUy" is being played on KTBZ, 94.5 The Buzz. Lost Element has elevated their status by opening for national acts such as Chevelle, Hoobastank, Trapt, Eve 6, Fuel, Awolnation, and others. LE is Currently one of the hardest working unsigned bands in the country.

Lost Element takes great pride in their live performances. Guitarist Trace Sisson roams the stage with a passionate vigor. Feeding off his energy the dynamics of Trevor and Omar come to life. Sustained by the inventive rhythmic beating from Brian Barrett the band captures the audience with every note. Rod Ryan (94.5 the buzz) said, "great band, great songs... and can actually back it up live! [You] must see this band perform." Lost Element plays every show with a completely live sound. Each and every note produced is pure Lost Element

The band is about to release their second album titled "Return to Solitude", and is busy getting into the planning stages of their first music video. Their calendar is booked through the end of the year with shows, ranging from charity events, to their own headlining shows at the Scout Bar, as well as opening up for national acts. They are constantly writing new songs and practicing with an unequaled hunger.
