Not Exactly Dylan 60's/70's Rock Tribute Band

Together since 2002, NOT EXACTLY DYLAN has been delighting
crowds at private events and clubs with a danceable upbeat and unusual
selection of songs people forgot they loved, signature vocal harmonies,
and instrumental arrangements played incredibly true to the original
sound - even down to using the old-school instruments and equipment of
the time for more authenticity. All the musical parts and harmonies
stay true to the original recordings as they were heard originally on
the radio in the late 60's and early 70's.

NOT EXACTLY DYLAN features music from The Doors, The Beatles, America,
The Monkees, The Byrds, Spirit, Deep Purple, Elvis, Bread, Grass Roots,
Badfinger, Elton John, Chuck Berry, and many more! Not too hard, not
too soft, this music is just right for all occasions and age groups.

It is difficult to pigeon-hole NOT EXACTLY DYLAN as they are not a Bob
Dylan Tribute band as first seems – in fact they play no Bob Dylan
music at all. Picture a garage band that sounds like a mix between The
Doors, The Beatles, and old-school Motown. Now picture a second band
that sounds like Doo-wop, Question Mark and the Mysterians, the
Animals, and Kermit from the Muppet's. Now picture a cover band of the
second band mentioned including a front-man that throws out witty
one-liners between songs while impersonating Sammy Davis Jr. (no really
he does). Now picture a rival cover band of the first cover band that
refers to themselves only as a 60’s/70’s tribute band vis-à-vis KLUV’s
radio format. Now, put it all together and NOT EXACTLY DYLAN is that
tribute band. Bottom-line: serious fun!
